Giuliani sees 'dangers' in Vance's personality as 2028 speculation mounts
Vance has attracted speculation about a 2028 presidential run after the Republican losses in the midterms.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani this week said that he saw both "potential" in Vice President JD Vance and "dangers" in his own personality.
Vance has attracted speculation about a 2028 presidential run after the Republican losses in the midterms. His own statement blaming the Iran war for the midterm losses, moreover, has led to speculation he may distance himself from Trump while mounting his own bid.
Speaking to Vance on a YouTube livestream this week, Giuliani told Vance that "I see presidential potential in you ... I also see certain dangers in your personality, which make you a dangerous possibility as president."
Giuliani cautioned Vance against rigid thinking and said his reservations came from Vance's comments blaming the war, which he contended was only part of the reason for the loss.
