Roger Foley says medically assisted suicide has become desensitized in Canada
Roger Foley, a Canadian man diagnosed with Cerebellar Ataxia, explains how the criteria allowing Canadians to request medical assistance in dying (MAiD) has become heavily expanded. “Now there’s a push to expand to those [with] mental health as a sole criteria. There’s also a push to expand it to mature minors,” he says. “Too much is never enough with the expansionists and the government and health system just goes along with it.”
